Material Our ties are typically made from the finest Italian silk. We can also make ties in polyester.

Quantities For silk ties our usual minimum order size is 50 ties, but we can make as few as 25 ties if required. The minimum for polyester is 50 ties.

 
How We Work 1) You supply details of the logo/text you'd like. We can produce an estimate from a digital picture, but to get a proper colour match it's better to have a hard copy, e.g. an existing tie, copy of brochure or paperwork. Don't worry if you don't have those, we can work without.

2) We agree the design. we'll send a rough picture of the tie design together with a final price.

3) When you agree the design we produce strikeoffs (sample cloth with design or sample tie). This may come in 2-3 slight colour variations for you to select the one you want and to rectify any errors before we go to production. The time to receipt of strikeoffs is about 2-3 weeks. 

4) The ties are made and delivered. This takes approximately 4-6 weeks after the strikeoffs.

Price

The price of a particular project is dependant on a number of factors. The following figures give guidance on the likely costs. These prices  exclude VAT and delivery.

Silk ties:

 

For quantities up to 100,  there is a charge of £160 - £200 for originating the design and creation of strikeoffs. The price per tie for a standard quality silk tie is £10. Higher quality options are also available.

Polyester ties:

For quantities up to 100,  there is an origination charge of typically £100 - £125 for originating the design and creation of a sample. Complex designs may incur a higher charge. The price per tie is £6.
